Eclectic
Eclectic has become a fundamental principle of the art of the XIX century (Victorian era in England) - trendy and topical united all that was comfortable and beautiful in the previous styles.
Many accuse the eclecticism in congestion and poor taste. But eclecticism is convenience and comfort, combining modern style with a past history. The decor is one of the most important elements of this style - variety of small decorative elements from different parts of the world is feature of the style.
Eclectic is a combination of not combinable - often mixed historical styles such as Classicism and Empire or Baroque and Art Nouveau. Sometimes a mixture of styles intentionally opposed, "pushing" incompatible with each other and creating a wonderful harmony, unique, bright and individual décor.
The interior is brought together by color and texture or the main item of the interior. Today’s interiors represent a synthesis of a variety of styles and trends, with eclectic details in almost every interior.
Furniture has dynamic forms (whimsically curved and twisted), is decorated with carvings, the backs of chairs and armchairs of bizarre shapes, and armrests with spiral curls, a combination of coarse and fine fabrics, mixing worn and smooth surface.
Floor is most often made of natural wood with intricate ornate patterns. The ceiling can be either single-level or two-level, often with stucco, wallpaper and ceramic tiles on the walls.
