Empire
Empire was born in France at the beginning of the XIX century, but it was felt the influence of antiquity. It is considered the highest degree of development of the classical style.
Parade and monumental, often used for decoration of living rooms and studies. Different symmetry, straight clean lines, appeared straight legs of furniture, a return to antiquity.
The colors rich and precious, quite contrasting combinations. Considered a classic combination of red, burgundy, dark blue or emerald green with white and black. Also interior details often used muted shades of gold, bronze and copper. Floor is usually made of precious wood or parquet. Its color varies from brown to amber.
